Race The Moon Promotional Material & Merchandise
Chloe’s ambitious research project revolved around practice and the role of Graphic Designers in events planning in a live project ‘Race The Moon’: a 28 day fundraising event. Chloe undertook the full branding for the event, working out brand guidelines, colour schemes and creating the brand's interstellar logo. These foundational elements were crucial in creating the brand’s personality and tone of voice which would be reinforced by the Social Media campaigns headed by Chloe on Instagram and Twitter. Chloe’s Social Media assets, and scheduled posts called participants to action boosting interactions between the event holder and the public whilst increasing its reach. The Wordpress website, on the other hand, extended past the call to action, giving the public the chance to become participants and join in the fundraising activities whilst hosting contextual information of the fundraiser’s cause and aims. The final elements of Chloe’s work completes the experience, through invitation packs and Kukri sports gear to fundraise in, featuring her illustrations and layout design.
The images on this page shows Chloe’s consistency in applying her brand guidelines over the course of the Race The Moon fundraising campaign.
Chloe Broad
Chloe's Graphic Communication and Illustration background has enabled her to pursued Merchandise Design and User Interface (UI) design for the purposes of a fundraising sport event.
Race The Moon is a cumulative mass participant event, where the focus is not how fast or how far you can go, but an event where everyone's contribution is valued, recognised and rewarded. Participants known as Challengers aim to chase down the Moon by running, cycling or walking 1.5 million miles before the Moon completes its full orbit of the Earth in a Sidereal month. Race The Moon Challengers are helping to support Parkinson’s charities, contributing to future research in developing new and improved medication. Chloe was the in-house designer for the event which has led her to secure a Graphic Design job. From there she hopes to gain enough experience to pursue the role that will balance her passions for management and designing in Creative Directing.
